Zee School, Hosur has re-defined the concept of ‘Fun with Learning’, with its

Teaching
Methodology
Every child in
Litera Valley Zee School, Hosur is encouraged to want to learn – the teaching
methodology is one that is based on a Blended Learning Design, suited to the
Multiple Intelligences of each individual. Thus, the facilitator can provide
individual attention to the child, and ensure the complete understanding of the
concept, rather than completion of the curriculum. Providing all three –
Knowledge, Skill and Attitude – this is the aim of all our teaching. Every
child is viewed as a leader in his/her interest, and accordingly motivated to
achieve the potential that is within. Interactive White Boards in every classroom
with digital content ensures the child’s complete attention.
Labs
Litera Valley
Zee School, Hosur is probably the only school in the country that can boast of
a fully-equipped Robotics Lab for all children, right from Grade I, in addition
to the Science labs that are part of every school. A colourful Math Lab with
different shapes and concepts of Math visualised, individual computer systems
for each child in the Computer Lab, more than 100 Tabs with the lessons
pre-loaded in the mobile Tab Lab, all Montessori learning and play equipment in
the KG Activity Lab – every child is given space and room to practically learn
all that they are interested in.
Sports
Childhood is the
time to play, and learn while playing. At Litera Valley Zee School, Hosur, every
child is given ample time and opportunity to play. Our world-class synthetic
tennis-courts, basketball courts, open grounds, a half-Olympic size swimming
pool are the basic sports infrastructure provided. In addition, professional
coaches from TENVIC (Mr. Anil Kumble’s academy) and EduSports engage the
children every day in school, providing them with skill development in
different sports, including cricket and table tennis.
Scholastic
Litera Valley
Zee School, Hosur is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education
under Affiliation Number 1930430. In addition to the core subjects of Science,
Mathematics, English, Social Studies, we offer a choice of Tamil or Hindi
(Sanskrit from Std VIII) as the Second Language in school. The school has a very
strong base in STEM, and offers Robotics right from Std I.
Co-Scholastic
Litera Valley
Zee School, Hosur has a wide choice of co-scholastic activities, and every
child participates in all activities over the week. The school timings are from
8:30 AM to 4:00 PM – we believe that the child must indulge in activities with
the similar age group and social milieu. The children participate in games,
art, dance, music, craft, yoga, drama, computer science, practical science
activities, tab activities, and robotics. They also have library classes, life
skill and general knowledge building sessions, in which they learn to be
well-rounded individuals who can worthily contribute to the future of the
nation.
Expo
An Expo is an
ideal way to showcase the talents of the children – at Litera Valley Zee
School, Hosur, this annual event, held over 3 days, ensures that every parent
is aware of the potential of their child, and what the child has learnt over
the academic year. Every child of the school is an active participant in the
Expo, and demonstrates practically their understanding and learning in the
fields of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Robotics, Science, Math, Aerospace,
Languages, Art, Music, etc. A stage performance on the final evening ensures
that the children also demonstrate their drama and dance skills in front of an
audience of over 5000 people.
Management
The vision of
the management to provide the best and latest in education, and create good
citizens for the future. The Management Team at Litera Valley Zee School, Hosur
is on hand every single day, first in and last out of the campus, to ensure
that this vision sees fruition.
Mr.
Chandrasekar, the Chairman, personally trains the teachers to positively
reinforce the teaching methodology and passion for learning, and ensures the
safety and security on campus.
Mrs.
Bhuvaneswari Chandrasekar, the Principal & Correspondent of the school,
always puts the child and the child’s needs first, to ensure individual
attention, and never compromises on doing what’s best for the child.
Mr. Vineeth
Chandrasekar, the Vice-Chairman of the school, has personally perfected the
teaching-learning transaction and drives children to achieve their potential,
and is their ‘best friend and big brother’.
